Rousay Heritage Centre

Situated just a stones throw away from the pier, in a building that also includes the ferry waiting room and toilets, is the Rousay Heritage Centre. Telling the rich and varied story of Rousay including detailed information on its archaeology, natural heritage, wildlife habitats, geology and people, the interpretation centre is a great place to begin a visit to the island. A new display by children from the Rousay School was added to the centre in the early summer of 2011, showing what makes Rousay a great place to live.
