<text>Barpa nam Feannag, ominously called Cairn of the Hooded Crows in English, is both less accessible and less well known than Barpa Langass. Erskine Beveridge described it as a long irregular mound of loose stones, lying approximately east and westâ. He noted that this barp was higher and wider at the east end, suggesting that there may have once been a chamber there with a large flat stone at the exterior base and a large rectangular opening presenting a sign of a possible entrance passage. He also recorded that the surface of the ground was excessively pitted by many slight hollows. The regularity, size and shape of these hollows suggests the original Neolithic structure, although he noted that none of the upright boundary slabs so characteristic of such cairns remained.</text>
