These were common to later Neolithic finds across the mainland, suggesting the tomb continued to be used for burials well into the Bronze Age. In Sunne we find ourselves in the land of fairy tales where Rottneros manor is Ekeby in Selma Lagerlöf's Gösta Berlings saga (1891). In the mid-1950s, the visionary Svante Påhlson made sure to design a Rottneros that could match the saga's Ekeby in the visual video mapping. With the performance Light without borders, the cultural heritage of Rottneros Park is managed and redefined for 2021. The aim of the project is to make cultural heritage visible for our time and for the future through modern technologies and contemporary art.
